How do I enable the BreezyHR integration?

Log in to BreezyHR and click the action menu in the top left corner. Hover over Recruiting Preferences and select Integrations.

Click Settings next to BambooHR.

Add your BambooHR subdomain.*

Determine if you would like BreezyHR to create positions and departments in BambooHR if they do not currently exist.

Click Connect to go to your BambooHR login URL (see below).

*The subdomain is the first part of your BambooHR URL, so if your account URL is, your subdomain would be helpcontent.

Enter your BambooHR login information. An API key will automatically get pulled from your BambooHR account to link the integration.

The integration is officially enabled. If you would like to update your settings, click on the action menu. Click Disable to remove the integration.

How do I add a candidate from BreezyHR to BambooHR?

You can add candidates in BreezyHR to BambooHR in two different ways: manually from any candidate profile or automatically with Stage Actions.

Manually from any candidate profile

You can add candidates in BreezyHR to BambooHR quickly and easily. If you have enabled the integration, you will see a button named "BambooHR" on each candidate profile. Click on the button, and it will add the candidate to BambooHR as an employee.

Automatically with Stage Actions

You can automatically add candidates to BambooHR when entering a particular pipeline stage by using Stage Actions in BreezyHR.

To set this up, you need to be a Company Admin. Navigate to the action menu in the top right corner and select Pipeline Stages. In the pop-up box, click on the edit icon next to the pipeline you would like to edit.

When viewing the specific pipeline, click on the edit icon next to the pipeline stage that you would like to add the automatic action for adding the candidate to BambooHR. For most customers, this associates with the Hired stage.

When viewing the stage, check the box to enable automatic action of adding the candidate to BambooHR. Then, click Save Changes.

Candidates who enter this stage will become employees in BambooHR.
