How does PlanSource integrate with BambooHR?

That's why PlanSource and BambooHR have partnered together to introduce a seamless employee management and benefits administration system to cover all your HR needs.

What data syncs between BambooHR and PlanSource?

Once the integration is on, PlanSource will automatically sync employee data four times daily in four-hour increments starting at 4 AM EST. BambooHR acts as the system of record for all employee demographic data, and PlanSource as the system of record for employees' benefits and their dependent benefits.

PlanSource allows a custom mapping of what data should sync for your employees from BambooHR. A default mapping already sets up during the integration. However, additional information outside of the normal mapping is possible. Please contact your PlanSource representative directly if you have questions about custom mapping.

How do I select which employees to sync to PlanSource?

When viewing an employee's profile in BambooHR, navigate the Job tab, and you will see an option to Sync employee to PlanSource.

By default, every employee should set to sync automatically. To disable the sync for an employee, uncheck the box on the employee's Job tab.

Can my employees access PlanSource from BambooHR?

With the integration enabled, your PlanSource implementation analyst will help you configure Single Sign-On (SSO) so your employees* can go directly to PlanSource from BambooHR Home.

*Please note that SSO is only available for employees at this time. Administrators will need to log in directly to PlanSource.
