How does NetSuite Integrate with BambooHR?

Purpose: To help you understand what NetSuite is used for and how you can integrate it with BambooHR.

How do I Enable the NetSuite Integration?

The NetSuite integration is set up with the assistance of a BambooHR Support Hero. In order to enable the integration, BambooHR will need to work with someone in your company who has administrative permissions access to both your BambooHR and NetSuite accounts.

How do I Compare List Values and Employees Between BambooHR and NetSuite?

Some of the fields involved in the NetSuite/BambooHR integration contain list value options. You can compare the existing list values in each system to easily see where updates may need to be made. Additionally, you can compare your employee list in each system to ensure you aren't missing an employee in either BambooHR or NetSuite.

To do this, navigate to the Apps Marketplace in your BambooHR account by clicking on the cloud icon in the top right corner. Go to the NetSuite app and click "Manage."

Once viewing the app information, click on "Compare Bamboo and NetSuite Lists" or "Compare Bamboo and NetSuite Employee Lists" depending on which option you want to compare. A pop-up window will appear noting that the lists are being compared. Please note that this may take a minute or so to complete.

Compare Lists

In the pop-up window, once the information is loaded, you will be able to compare the various syncing fields that have list values.  With each one, you will be able to see the values existing in BambooHR, and their corresponding matches within NetSuite. You will easily be able to see if values are missing in one system or the other so that you can update information accordingly. 

Please note that the complete mapping of Division to Subsidiary values is critical for a proper sync to occur if you are using a OneWorld account with NetSuite.

Compare Employee Lists

In the pop-up window, once the information is loaded, you will be able to compare the employees listed in BambooHR and those listed in NetSuite.  You will easily be able to see if any employees are missing in one system or the other so that you can update information accordingly.
