How does Boomr Integrate with BambooHR?

Once logged into Boomr, click the drop-down menu in the top right corner and select Integrations. Then, locate BambooHR and click Connect.
In the pop-up box, enter your subdomain,* username, and password for your BambooHR account.
*Your subdomain is the very first part of your BambooHR URL. For example, if I log in to my account by going to https://helpcontent.bamboohr.com, my subdomain would be helpcontent.
After completing your authorization information, you will get redirected back to your management dashboard, where you will see a new tab titled BambooHR added to your main menu. Go to the BambooHR tab, and click Settings to see a list of employees pulled from BambooHR. Match these employees to the correct employee names in Boomr. This ensures hours tracked in Boomr accurately match the right employees in BambooHR.
Go to the BambooHR tab in Boomr and select Settings. If an employee from your BambooHR account is not in Boomr and you would like to add them, select Add This Employee. Set the drop-down list to Ignore for any employees you do not want to set up in Boomr. Be sure to click Save in the bottom left-hand corner after you have finished matching and adding employees.
You can create timesheet reports within Boomr and send them directly to BambooHR.
- To do this, log in to Boomr and click on the BambooHR tab.
- Click Timesheets.
- Set a date range and then click Run Report. Click on a row to drill into that specific report to see which employees have logged hours.
- Click Send to Bamboo at the right of the timesheet report you would like to send. It may take up to 30 seconds for the data to send to BambooHR.
Please note: Only approved hours will show up in this report.
After sending hours worked, you can no longer edit those shifts in Boomr. If you would like to send other shifts that fall within a date range you already sent for, create a new timesheet report for that date range and send it to BambooHR. This will ensure the addition of these new shifts to BambooHR.
To view hours worked sent from Boomr to BambooHR, log in to BambooHR and click on the Reports tab. Select the Standard Reports folder and scroll down to the Approved Hours report. This report allows you to view all regular hours, overtime hours, and pay rates for each employee.
