How does Boomr Integrate with BambooHR?

Once logged into Boomr, click the drop-down menu in the top right corner and select "Integrations." Then locate BambooHR and click "Connect."
In the pop-up box, enter your subdomain*, username, and password for your BambooHR account.
*Note that your subdomain is just the very first part of your BambooHR URL. For example, if you normally log into your account by going to https://helpcontent.bamboohr.com, then your subdomain would simply be "helpcontent."
After completing your authorization information, you will be redirected back to your management dashboard, where a new tab titled "BambooHR" has been added to your main menu. Go to the BambooHR tab, and click "Settings" to see a list of employees that have been pulled from BambooHR. Match these employees to the correct employee name in Boomr. This ensures that hours tracked in Boomr are accurately matched to the correct employee in BambooHR.
Navigate to the "BambooHR" tab in Boomr and select "Settings." If an employee from your BambooHR account has not been set up in Boomr and you would like to add them, simply select "Add This Employee". Leave the drop-down set to "Ignore" for any employees that you do not want to set up in Boomr. Be sure to click the "Save" button in the bottom left-hand corner after you have finished matching and adding employees.
Timesheet reports can be created within Boomr and then sent directly to BambooHR.
- To do this, log in to Boomr and click on the "BambooHR" tab.
- Click "Timesheets."
- Set a date range and then click "Run Report." Click on a row to drill into that specific report to see which employees have logged hours.
- Click the "Send to Bamboo" button to the right of the timesheet report you would like to send. It may take up to 30 seconds for the data to be sent to BambooHR.
Please note: Only hours that have been approved will show up in this report.
Once hours have been sent, those shifts can no longer be edited in Boomr. If you would like to send additional shifts that fall within a date range that has already been sent, simply create a new timesheet report for that date range and then send it to BambooHR. This will ensure that the new shifts also get added to BambooHR.
To view hours that have been sent from Boomr to BambooHR, login to BambooHR and click on the "Reports" tab. Select the "Standard Reports" folder and scroll down to the "Time Tracking Summary" report. This report allows you to view all regular hours, overtime hours and pay rates for each employee.
