How do I enable the Lever integration?

Before you get started, you need to create an API key in BambooHR. You will use this API key later during the setup.

Please note that a Full Admin user in BambooHR must enable this integration. We recommend that you create a non-employee user in BambooHR with Full Admin access to create the API key. This will ensure that the integration continues to operate successfully in the event that access roles change.

Log in to your Lever account. Navigate to Settings and select Integrations. Scroll down to HRIS and Onboarding and then toggle on the BambooHR integration.

When you toggle on the BambooHR integration, please read through the accompanying integration details, then click the Send Request to Enable button to notify Lever Technical Support of your request.

Lever will reach out to you requesting the following required information:

  • BambooHR Company url
  • BambooHR API Key
What data syncs between BambooHR and Lever?

All of your teams, job titles, and locations in Lever must match the departments, job titles, and locations in BambooHR.
