How do I submit feedback?

Purpose: This help guide will show you how to submit feedback. 

Email notification of feedback

Once the manager requests feedback, that person will receive an email notification asking them to provide feedback about an employee. That person will receive a soft deadline to submit their feedback form after 14 days from the date of the request. If they have not given feedback by the 13th day, they will be sent a reminder email notification at 7 am in the company time zone. The employee will have a total of 30 days to complete their feedback and on the 30th day, the notification will expire and be removed from their inbox. 

For example, if a manager sent a request on January 3rd, that person will receive a soft deadline of January 17th to submit their feedback. If they have not submitted the feedback by January 16th, they will receive an email reminder notification. However, they will have until February 2nd to complete feedback. 

The employee can click Give Feedback to go to their inbox to provide feedback about an employee (see below).

Once in their inbox, the requested person will be asked two meaningful questions about the employee.* 

After they answer the questions, they can click Submit Feedback, and the employee's manager will get a notification of the completed feedback.

*Note: We cannot add custom questions to the feedback form. It helps to keep the simplicity of feedback for those employees to provide efficient feedback.

The employee will NOT be able to view the requested person's responses. Only the manager and Full Admin user(s) can view feedback. The Full Admin user(s) cannot view feedback about themselves, even while previewing as another user.

View an employee's feedback

The manager and Full Admin user(s) can view feedback by going to an employee's Performance tab, then selecting Feedback.

To see feedback from a given time period, select the date range options from the drop-down menu at the top of the tab. You will then see all submitted feedback for the employee during that time frame.
