Here’s a snapshot of how we’ve improved BambooHR within the last 30 days.
Increase Peer Feedback Participants (Performance Management Add-On)
Now managers will be able to request up to 10 people to give feedback on an employee. This update makes it easier for managers of larger teams to get accurate peer feedback. That gives you more flexibility on who gives feedback so that you can gain a better understanding of how your employees are contributing.
Document Management Improvements
Managing employee documents is a critical part of maintaining an accurate employee record. We’re happy to say we made it easier than ever to stay organized and keep files secure on an employee’s Documents tab. We started by giving you the ability to add subfolders four levels deep to help you categorize documents in a clear, organized way. We also developed a new default grid view, in addition to the standard list view, as an alternative viewing option when working with documents and folders. In this new view, you’ll see a padlock icon so you can quickly identify which folders employees can access, giving you added peace of mind. And if all that isn’t enough, we also added a new search bar function, the ability to multi-select documents for common actions, a new drag and drop upload feature, and the ability to add descriptions to folders.
Signer Field Update in e-Signature Template (Advantage Package)
When a member of your team leaves your organization or switches departments, there are a number of offboarding tasks to complete. For a HR team member, one of those tasks might include updating e-signature templates for any document they were responsible for helping complete. While reassigning a single signature field within a document isn’t very time-consuming, when there are multiple fields to update, it can become a tedious process. We’re happy to say you’ll now be able to reassign all signature fields in a document to the appropriate replacement at once, saving you time and effort as you make sure your signature templates stay up-to-date.
Add & Edit Emergency Contacts in Mobile App
We want to enable admins to better empower their employees to do certain tasks so that they can be set free to do great work. Previously, admins could give employees access to add, edit and delete their emergency contacts in the BambooHR web app. Now, employees who have been given access to make these changes, can now do so in the BambooHR mobile app as well.
Candidate Talent Pools (Advantage Package)
Starting a job search from scratch can be a daunting task, and with hiring continuing to heat up, you simply can’t afford any delays. To help you reduce your time to hire, we’ve added Candidate Talent Pools to the Hiring section in BambooHR. You can now build a talent pipeline in advance of opening a position by moving previous candidates who just narrowly missed the hiring window into a custom talent pool for future consideration. So when it comes time to hire for your next position, you’ll have a vetted list of qualified candidates as you begin your search.
