How does OrgChart Now integrate with BambooHR?
Purpose: To help you understand what you can use OrgChart Now for and how you can integrate it with BambooHR.

A cloud-based organizational charting and workforce planning software. OrgChart Now makes creating, maintaining and sharing organizational charts and workforce plans simple and efficient.

Before you get started, you need to create an API key in BambooHR. You will use this API key later during the setup.
Log in to your OrgChart Now account. Go to the File tab, click Configure Connectors, and select BambooHR.
Once you have selected the BambooHR Connector, you will receive a prompt to enter your BambooHR account information.
1. The subdomain is the first part of your BambooHR account URL, so if your account URL is: https://helpcontent.bamboohr.com, your subdomain is helpcontent.
2. Paste the API key that you have copied from your BambooHR account.
3. Enter 0 for the Report ID.
Click OK, and the integration is ready to go!

Once you have configured the BambooHR Connector in OrgChart Now, you can import data from BambooHR into OrgChart Now by using the Import Wizard tool. Below are the steps to import data through using the wizard.
Click on the Import Wizard icon in the top-left of the screen and then select BambooHR.
You can then choose if you want to filter data from BambooHR by specific field values. An example would be to filter data to only include employees in the import who are active employees in BambooHR. For this example, we will not specify any data filters at this time, so click Next.
On the next screen, make sure you mark the checkbox for Data contains hierarchy fields. Then, make sure each field maps to its corresponding field in OrgChart Now. If all looks good, click Next.
If your organzational chart has too many boxes, you can add breaks to separate it into multiple pages. Once you have added your break information, click Next.
Select the template you would like to apply to your chart and click Next.
Determine what you want for the master page and click Create Chart.
Once you have created your organizational chart, you can edit, save, and share it in many different formats.
