How does Workable integrate with BambooHR?
Purpose: To help you understand what you can use Workable for and how you can integrate it with BambooHR.
Workable is the most popular all-in-one recruiting software for small and medium enterprises. From sourcing and attracting candidates to applicant tracking and evaluation, Workable enables smooth collaboration, which results in more viable candidates and a faster time to hire.

Log in to your Workable account. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select Integrations.
Scroll down to BambooHR and click Settings upon hover. Enter your BambooHR subdomain.* Then, click Connect Workable with BambooHR.
*Note that your subdomain is the first part of your BambooHR URL. For example, if you usually log in to your account by going to https://helpcontent.bamboohr.com, your subdomain would be helpcontent.
If you have not logged in to BambooHR, a new window will automatically open with your BambooHR URL. Enter your login credentials. If you have already logged in, it will automatically link your access.
After enabling the integration, the dot next to the BambooHR app will change to green. You will then see additional settings for auto-export.
Candidate profile data exports to BambooHR at the Hired stage of the recruiting pipeline in Workable. There are two ways this can happen based on your company's preference:
- Auto-export: Candidate information automatically pushes to BambooHR when a candidate moves to the Hired stage.
- Manual: A member of your hiring team pushes a candidate's data to BambooHR by clicking the Export button on their candidate profile.
With either option, a Push to BambooHR button will appear on a candidate's profile. You will only need to use the button if you select to export candidates manually.
Determine which way you would like to export candidates and click Update Settings.
