Purpose: To help you understand what AppsCo is used for and how you can integrate it with BambooHR.

AppsCo is a patented Identity and Access Management solution which enables enterprises and SMBs to efficiently and securely manage employees and customer's access to company resources through a centralized platform while maintaining transparency and control.

AppsCo provides secure and seamless access to BambooHR through a Single Sign-On (SSO) SAML integration.

Through a centralized dashboard, AppsCo provides access to all applications in one place and enables the users to have only one set of credentials.

By enforcing the different policies and security measures such as Two Factor Authentication, Device management, IP whitelist, etc. companies have better control over sensitive data flow while AppsCo secures the identities of internal users/employees and contacts. With AppsCo's advanced Provisioning feature, companies can easily provision and de-provision users across multiple systems (such as BambooHR, Azure, Active Directory, etc.). BambooHR is supported as an Identity Provider which enables the users to login to AppsCo by using their BambooHR credentials.

How do I Enable the AppsCo Integration?

Log into your AppsCo account. Click on your company name and select "Resources." Click the "Add" button and select "SSO Application." Then click "BambooHR SAML."

Add application

Enter the following information:

  1. SAML Issuer:
  2. Domain registered at SP: This should be your BambooHR Subdomain.*
  3. ACS URL:
  4. Click "Add."

*The subdomain is the first part of your BambooHR URL so if your account URL is then your subdomain would be "helpcontent."

Click "EDIT" on the BambooHR SAML application.

  1. Click to copy the Sign in URL.
  2. Click to download the certificate.

You will paste this information directly in BambooHR.


Log into your BambooHR account. Navigate to Settings and select "Apps." Then find SAML and click "Install."

  1. Paste the SSO Login URL from AppsCo.
  2. Open the certificate you downloaded from AppsCo and paste it in the "x.509 Certificate" box.

Click "Install."


Once the integration is enabled in both systems, go back to AppsCo and share the BambooHR application with your employees. This will allow your employees to access BambooHR without entering any credentials as long as they are currently logged into AppsCo.
